The history of Ruinart begins in the 18th century, when Dom Thierry Ruinart - a great visionary of his time - foresaw the importance and potential success of Champagne. On September 1, 1729, Nicolas Ruinart put the vision of his uncle, Dom Thierry Ruinart, into practice and founded the Ruinart Champagne House. It is the first and thus, of course, the oldest champagne house ever. The pursuit of perfection has always been the highest maxim in the house of Ruinart and is based on the values of authenticity, quality, open-mindedness and refinement. Its aroma is initially very fruity (mainly strawberry), but then more subtle with floral influences, especially acacia scent.
