Paul Kerschbaum

The Paul Kerschbaum winery is located in the Austrian wine region Thermenregion south of Vienna and produces mainly red wines from autochthonous varieties such as Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent as well as white varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Rotgipfler.

The history of the winery dates back to 1860, when Franz Kerschbaum, the great-grandfather of the current owner, began to grow grapes. Over the years, the winery continued to develop and was finally taken over by Paul Kerschbaum in the 1980s, who made it one of the leading wineries in the region.

The Paul Kerschbaum winery is known for its quality wines, which regularly receive awards at national and international competitions. The focus is on producing wines with character and terroir that reflect the special features of the region's soil and climate.

The vineyards of the winery extend over several slopes and terraces in the thermal region, which is known for its mineral-rich soils and mild climate. The vineyards are cultivated sustainably, largely avoiding the use of chemicals.

Today, the winery is managed by Markus Kerschbaum, the grandson of the founder, and continues to focus on quality and sustainability. Paul Kerschbaum's wines are appreciated worldwide and are an excellent example of the diversity and quality of Austrian wines.
