Products from Talisker Storm

In 1830, brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill founded the Talisker distillery on the shores of Loch Harport.

The name was chosen from Talisker House, which was a few miles to the west in the mountains.

After the death of the MacAskill brothers, the distillery changed hands and is now owned by United Distillers & Vinters LTD, a member of Diageo since 2002.

Due to the large number of tourists, the distillery offers guided tours of the distillery as well as whiskey tastings to promote the special taste of the distillate produced worldwide.
